  • "Why can't I sign up / post / like anymore?"

    This is most likely because Qwitter is now READ-ONLY. Check out the other FAQs below for more info.

  • "Just one free post?"

    This site was designed primarily as a fun way to help support others by sending a message of hope. We'd love to have you post as much as you'd like, but that wouldn't be in the spirit of our cause.

  • "Why no image or video uploads?"

    Our focus is not to be another social app, rather to give you a platform (and excuse) to voice your hope for a better future and not fear deleting your account! In fact, we encourage you to delete your account!

  • "No 'Like' count? What's the point?"

    Think of it more like a "favorites" system. The only thing that should matter is what YOU like. Create a collection of affirmations just for you!

  • "What happens when Qwitter becomes READ-ONLY?"

    Any users that have created an account will still be able to log in, but posting and liking will be disabled. Any unused posts will be discarded for all users, and new members will no longer be able to register.

    Donation links will no longer offer perks, and community donation milestones will be frozen, but direct links to our charity partners will still be available if you still want to give.

  • "What happens to my data? I don't want my info out on the dark web or something!"

    We take data privacy VERY seriously. Even when the site goes READ-ONLY, you will still be able to access your account and delete your posts and/or your account.

    Eventually, we will delete all user data from our servers to give you peace of mind.

  • "Will you reopen Qwitter in the future?"

    We might do something new with Qwitter when the time is right, but you'll probably need to make a new account.

    Parting is such sweet sorrow, but all good things must come to an end. :) Qwitter was meant to be a temporary experience from the beginning, after all! It's right there in the name.
